Marron Café
The licensed Café was opened in November
2006 and is the most exciting in terms of visitor participation
and experience with fresh marron straight
from the farm being presented as gourmet dishes by the talented
Chef in entrée’s or as main courses.
The menu offers a range of marron options with
the piece de resistance being the marron platter - a shared
dish for 2 with marron, prawns, scallops and the range of the
Two Wheeler bush tucker sauces. However steak, chicken and ‘specials’
dishes are also always available along with a selection of tasty
sweets in the display cabinet.
The Chef has often been complimented with ‘one
of the best meals’ on Kangaroo Island. All meals can be
complemented with delicious Two Wheeler
Creek Wines although beer, soft and other drinks are on
offer too plus the essential tea and coffee.
The Café is positioned close to the marron
shed and cellar door and has a relaxing outlook over the original
native herb orchard.
